In the spring of 2019, one of the largest competitions for schoolchildren in the field of artificial intelligence took place - the AI Academy 2019 Hackathon.
2,438 participants from 84 regions of the Russian Federation and 11 countries registered for the competition: China, the USA, France, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Finland, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, and Georgia.
On April 20, participants from 27 regions of Russia came to the finals in Khoroshkol. For 6.5 hours, the guys worked to create an algorithm that predicted the experience of a Dota 2 player based on match data.
Participants had to predict the player’s experience in Dota 2: in the online stage task, the guys “guessed” whether the player was experienced or not; in the final, the probability that the player was experienced (in the range from 0 to 1).
